Personal Data Notice
How the personal data you share through the contact form, WhatsApp and phone on this site is processed under Turkish data protection law.
This notice explains how the personal data you share through diyabetikayakistanbul.com is processed, in line with Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

Information about illness, wounds, test results and medication in your message, photos or documents is health data, which is a special category of personal data under KVKK.
Purposes
- To assess your request and reply to you
- To make an initial assessment and guide you on the next step
- To plan the appointment and examination process
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse
- To measure how the site is used and improve its content
Your data is not used for advertising or marketing and is not sold.
Legal grounds
- Explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1 and Art. 6): Messages, photos and documents containing your health information are processed on the basis of the explicit consent you give by sending them voluntarily and ticking the consent box on the form.
- Establishing or performing a contract (Art. 5/2-c): Answering your request and running the appointment process.
- Legal obligation (Art. 5/2-ç): Record-keeping and retention duties under health legislation.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f): Site security and usage measurement.
How data is collected
Your data is obtained directly from you when you fill in the contact form, write on WhatsApp, call or send an email. Site usage information is collected automatically during your visit.
Transfers
Your data is processed, only for the purposes above, through the following service providers:

Cloudflare, Meta and Google may operate servers outside Türkiye, so using these services may result in your data being transferred abroad. Data may be shared with competent public authorities where the law requires it.
Retention
Your data is kept for as long as needed to complete your request and for the retention periods required by the relevant legislation. After that it is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:
- learn whether your personal data is processed,
- request information about the processing,
- learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used accordingly,
- know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom the data is transferred,
- ask for incomplete or inaccurate data to be corrected,
- ask for the data to be deleted or destroyed under the conditions in Article 7,
- ask for corrections and deletions to be notified to the third parties who received the data,
- object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis,
- claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.
You may withdraw your consent at any time.
How to apply
Send your request to info@aytaccetinkaya.com. Applications are answered within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board.
